COSMOVISION ASHANINKA Y MACHIGUENGA
By Kecizate Atahuallpa Capac
What is OZARITI?
It is the vast world beyond the sun, where light no longer exists and everything is submerged in darkness and shadows. This place is much larger in size than the sun itself. It is inhabited by gigantic beings made of iron or metals, who are immortal. These beings can only occasionally visit kamaveni when the sheripiaris request their help to save life on planet Earth.
ORIATZIRI KATZIRINKAITERI
The personified spirit of the sun, which connects with human beings. Katzirinkaiteri represents the blazing sun, whose ultraviolet energy gives vital heat to our kamaveni (Mother Earth), also known as mamanztiki ina, the principle of all life. Oriatziri is considered the father of all living beings in kamaveni, and we venerate him as the only God who originated life along with mamanztiki. These great spirits have never lied to us nor claimed that life was created by a mere breath. As Machiguengas and Ashánincas, if we unite with our spiritual parents and venerate them, we will achieve happiness. We use the kitsarentzi to symbolize the father sun, the pochote for the strength and color of the sun, and the piarentzi as a symbol of the life and blood of mamanztiki, which we transform into our own life with honor and joy.
What is TZIGO?
It is a small planet near the sun, inhabited by the spirit of all animals. In our zuncari, it is represented by five reeds, just like the five fingers of the hand, indicating that it is the fifth planet according to our Asháninca and Machiguenga worldview. The spirits of the amenpores or sheripiaris come from there. If our body and consciousness are clean, we can see them while hunting in the forest, something normal before the arrival of the Christians, who confused them with evil spirits, calling them kamari, which separated us from nature and disrupted our life.
From Tzigo, the sacred bird kamavira occasionally arrives, a white or yellow hummingbird, which appears in the gardens where we grow flowers and sheri. For this reason, the sheripiaris used to live apart from large villages or populated centers.
Know the spiritual world we reach after death—KAMAYROTAGARO
A place where we learn to live a new existence, beyond matter. Therefore, when we inhabit a material body in kamaveni, it is important to behave correctly, following shamanic laws and being disciplined in our diets, on the path of the gods. This path guides us to sacrifice ourselves to become sheripiari, without making mistakes in our diets or actions, to avoid turning into animals and wandering for millions of years in this material world.
MANCHAKORI KASHIRI is an intiyaya according to the Incas, and they are correct in calling it the sheripiari of the shadow and the katzingari, the great fisherman who travels in his cosmic canoe to collect the spirit of the dead. This being has a great influence on our existence, as well as on the growth of plants and the movement of water, rivers, and inkajare. As a sign of respect, during its light nights, we offer it our music through our zuncares and drums. When we see it, we greet it, and it accompanies us during our nights of hunting and fishing, sailing in its cosmic canoe.
What is KAMAVENI?
It is the planet Earth that we inhabit, a place where death is known as the transformation of the earth into energy. In Asháninca, the shadow of the earth is called irampari, although its pronunciation may vary in other neighboring languages of tribes. In Spanish, it is misunderstood as "night," created by a blowing god, a view foreign to our culture. In our Asháninca or Machiguenga worldview, there is no blowing god who became Christian and killed millions of human beings.
In kamaveni, there are four otzitirikos: katzinkaveni, osheropanko, katzirinkaiteveni, and irainimatzairiveni, places beyond consciousness that the sheripiaris visit when it is necessary to change life forms or climates on Earth, the world where death is known.
KIVINTI
It is the world of spirits where the soul of a person is sent when they faint. In kamaveni, their spirit is taken there, where the spirits ask them why they have arrived. Then, the spirit returns to the body, allowing the person to revive. Few remember this experience, and many believe they have encountered gods or spirits, when in reality, it was the fire of the subconscious, working with the four elements in harmony, that allowed them to return to life. We are ashamed that some religious sects exploit these events to manipulate, introducing their false patriarchal god.
SHARINKAVENI
This is a world of fire that exists in volcanoes or magma erosions, we can find it in the sheripiari world of shamanism, where fire is its own independent world, called sharinkaveni, not under the control of any god, that world just exists. It physically exists in the form of galaxies, meteorites, or solar systems, or other beings that create cosmic fire here and beyond.
