Day 1

Arrival and Retreat Orientation

We will begin your journey with a private transfer from your hotel in Cusco to the retreat center, located in a peaceful natural setting away from the city. This setting provides a quiet space to begin your ayahuasca experience in Cusco.

Upon arrival, you will have time to settle into the retreat center and become familiar with the facilities. We will then introduce you to the program, planned activities, and practical recommendations for your stay.

During the afternoon, we will introduce some of the traditional practices and Andean traditions connected to the retreat. You will also have time to reflect on your personal intentions and prepare for the days ahead.

Later, we will have a quiet meditation and preparation session before the evening ceremony.

At night, we will hold the first ayahuasca ceremony in a dedicated space at the retreat center, accompanied by the retreat team. Overnight at the retreat center.

Day 2

Integration and Second Ceremony

We will begin the morning with breakfast followed by time to rest and relax.

Later, we will have an integration session where you can reflect on your experience from the previous evening and share your thoughts in a calm and respectful environment. This space is intended for personal reflection and conversation as part of the overall experience.

Throughout the day, we will take part in activities connected with nature and the traditions of the surrounding area. You will also have free time to rest, write, meditate, or simply enjoy the natural setting.

In the afternoon, we will continue with preparation and reflection activities, exploring elements of Andean traditions and their relationship with the natural world.

As evening approaches, we will prepare for the second ceremonial experience.

The day will conclude with the second ayahuasca ceremony at the retreat center, accompanied by the team responsible for the experience. Overnight at the retreat center.

Day 3

Nature, Ancestral Traditions and Integration

After breakfast, we will dedicate the day to personal reflection, integration, and connection with nature.

We will take part in an outdoor activity around the retreat center, allowing you to experience the surrounding landscape in a peaceful setting.

After the activity, you will have time to rest and enjoy lunch.

During the afternoon, we will explore additional aspects of ancestral wisdom and Andean traditions, focusing on different perspectives on the relationship between people, nature, and their surroundings.

You will also have personal time to meditate, write about your experiences, or simply rest and enjoy the peaceful environment.

This day is designed as a quieter part of the 7-day ayahuasca experience in Peru, allowing you to reflect on and integrate the experiences of the first few days. Overnight at the retreat center.

Day 4

Andean Traditions and Third Ceremony

We will begin the day with breakfast and an activity focused on connecting with the surrounding natural environment.

During the morning, we will continue exploring elements of ancestral traditions and the relationship between Andean culture and nature.

After lunch, you will have time to rest and enjoy the retreat center at your own pace.

In the afternoon, we will explore aspects of Andean worldview, including the cultural relationship with Pachamama and the importance of respect for the natural environment.

Before the ceremony, you will have a quiet period for personal preparation, meditation, and reflection.

At night, we will hold the third ayahuasca ceremony in the dedicated ceremonial space, accompanied by the retreat team. Overnight at the retreat center.

Day 5

Retreat Closing and Journey to Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, we will have an integration session to reflect on the experiences and activities of the previous days.

We will then have a closing and gratitude session, providing a space to reflect on your personal experience and the traditions explored throughout the journey.

You will have time to organize your belongings and say goodbye to the retreat center before beginning the next part of your journey.

We will then travel toward Aguas Calientes, making our way to the train station for the journey to the Machu Picchu area.

Along the way, you will be able to enjoy the changing landscapes as we travel from the Cusco region toward the cloud forest surrounding Machu Picchu.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will transfer to your accommodation.

The rest of the afternoon will be free for you to rest and prepare for the following day's visit to Machu Picchu. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 6

Machu Picchu and Return to Cusco

After breakfast, we will begin our visit to Machu Picchu, one of Peru's most important archaeological and cultural landmarks.

We will make our way to the entrance of the sanctuary, where we will meet our guide for the guided visit.

During the tour, we will explore different areas of the archaeological site and learn about its historical and cultural significance within the Andean world.

After the visit, we will return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch and a break before the journey back to Cusco.

Later, we will board the train and begin our return journey. Upon arrival at the designated station, our private transportation will take you back to your accommodation in Cusco. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 7

Final Day and Departure Transfer

After breakfast, you will have free time to rest, organize your belongings, and enjoy your final morning in Cusco.

At the previously agreed time, we will provide a private transfer from your accommodation to Cusco Airport.

This marks the end of your 7-day journey, combining an ayahuasca experience in Cusco with traditional practices, Andean traditions, personal reflection, connection with nature, and a visit to Machu Picchu.

14 Days Before the Ceremony

As part of the traditional preparation, we recommend avoiding:

  • Pork.

  • Sexual activity.

  • Cannabis.

  • Recreational drugs or stimulants such as cocaine, MDMA, amphetamines, and similar substances.

  • Very spicy or heavily seasoned foods.

  • Ice, ice cream, and excessively cold drinks.

7 Days Before the Ceremony

During the final week, we recommend keeping your diet simple and light and avoiding:

  • Refined sugar and foods high in added sugar.

  • Red meat.

  • Fast food and ultra-processed foods.

  • Excessive salt and pepper.

  • Sweets, chocolate, and desserts.

  • Excessive oils. If needed, use small amounts of olive or coconut oil.

  • Animal fats such as lard.

  • Soft drinks and carbonated beverages, including diet versions.

  • Energy drinks and non-alcoholic beer.

  • Dairy products.

  • Fermented foods.

  • Coffee, caffeinated beverages, and other stimulants.

Our recommendations for planning your meals during the ayahuasca diet are based on choosing light, natural, and easy-to-digest foods.

Proteins

You may eat organic eggs, free-range chicken, and mild fish such as sole, tilapia, halibut, trout, or snapper. Lentils, beans, and unfermented tofu are also suitable options.

Grains

We recommend brown rice, quinoa, amaranth, whole wheat, spelt, kamut, gluten-free pasta, and other whole, minimally processed grains.

Vegetables

Most vegetables can be included, preferably steamed or raw. However, avoid onions, garlic,   and leeks.

Fruits

You can eat berries, grapes, bananas, peaches, apricots, apples, and pears. Avoid citrus fruits and overly ripe fruit.

Nuts and Seeds

Nuts and seeds can be consumed in moderation, except peanuts, raw hemp seeds, and peanut butter. If you choose nut butter, we recommend unsalted varieties.

Beverages

You may drink herbal teas, coconut water, plant-based milk, and water. Avoid caffeine and alcohol.

Herbs and Spices

To season your meals, you can use fresh herbs such as basil, oregano, thyme, sage, and dill, as well as mild spices such as cumin, coriander, turmeric, and the other spices mentioned above.
