Day 1: First Intake (3-Day Ayahuasca Retreat in the Jungle)
We will begin our 3-Day Ayahuasca Retreat with a 4 a.m. drive to our sacred temple in the heart of the jungle. During this journey, we will pass through a city famous for its warm climate and lush flora and fauna. As we descend to 1,050 meters above sea level, you will witness the fascinating change in vegetation, observing how the flora transforms with the altitude. This trip promises to be a deep immersion in nature, an encounter with the jungle at its finest.
Continuing with the 3-Day Ayahuasca Retreat, we will arrive at our sacred temple in the jungle, where we will perform the ceremony with our shaman and everything necessary.
Before the ceremony, we will visit a beautiful place that will serve as a purification.
Yanay Mandor Waterfall
Next, we will visit the Yanay Mandor Waterfall, located 30 minutes from Quillabamba, a beautiful place full of native plants and impressive trees.
We will arrive at the waterfall to take a cleansing and purification bath accompanied by our shaman. The waterfall is a 15-minute walk away.
We can take advantage of this place to perform a deep meditation with the falling water, clearing our minds and auras for the ceremony.
After settling into our temple, you will enjoy a delicious lunch according to the instructions and restrictions.
Ayahuasca Ceremony
Then we begin with the shaman's ancestral storytelling, to connect with nature and the energy of the universe.
Later, we will begin the ayahuasca ceremony in our sacred space. The ceremony is completely safe, led by expert shamans and their collaborators, who will be attentive to the health and well-being of each of you.
Finally, the next day, Ayahuasca Retreat Cusco thanks you for joining us on this journey. In the morning, we have a wonderful breakfast following the prescribed diet and are then transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Second Intake (3-Day Ayahuasca Retreat in the Jungle)
We begin the second day with breakfast following the appropriate dietary guidelines.
Our shaman will then conduct a brief individual interview with each participant, which will help foster a deeper connection with both the participant and nature. Afterward, we will cleanse ourselves of negative energies to better channel our aura and begin the ceremony in the best possible way.
Later, we will enjoy lunch as directed and take a break until the start of the Ayahuasca ceremony.
Day 3:
During the three-day Ayahuasca retreat, time is spent talking with each participant about their experience, identifying concerns, and helping them understand the meaning of what they experienced. Afterward, the group participates in a guided meditation to integrate the ceremony. The shaman uses tools such as herbs, healing sounds, and breathwork to renew energy.
Afterward, a balanced lunch is enjoyed, followed by time to rest. The second ceremony is deeper, allowing for healing and the release of emotional shadows. At the end, the participants reflect and share the transformation process, seeking connection with the sacred plant and nature.
During the Ayahuasca ceremony:
During the Ayahuasca ritual, you will experience visions related to your goal or mission. The colors reflect your subconscious, as you will connect with your inner self. In addition, you will hear noises similar to Shipibo or Ahaninka instruments and even animal sounds. These visions are part of the effects produced by Ayahuasca. However, some people may experience delayed visions, as each body reacts differently. If this occurs, the shaman and our team will offer support, and if necessary, we will transport you in a private vehicle for your safety.
It is recommended to rest briefly after the ritual, as the mental and physical transformation can be exhausting. This is normal and temporary.
What happens if I don't experience visions during the Ayahuasca Ceremony?
It depends on how your body processes the brew and how well you adapt to it. In some ceremonies, our shaman asks if anyone would like to have another dose of ayahuasca. It is up to each participant to decide whether they would like to take an extra dose of ayahuasca.
Why is our Ayahuasca Ceremony priced?
Ayahuasca Retreat Cusco works with highly qualified professionals with extensive knowledge of sacred and healing brews. We seek to connect the ancestral knowledge of our shamans with a comprehensive, high-quality service that allows our participants to feel safe during the ceremony.
Is it important to follow the diet after the Ayahuasca ceremony?
Yes, after the Ayahuasca ceremony, it is important to continue with the diet. This is because the beverage is still being processed in our body. It takes about 7 days to fully process. Therefore, it is essential to avoid foods with high cortisol levels listed in the diet. Cortisol levels must be kept low for better internal processes.
