We start the Ayahuasca and Horseback Riding tour early with the pick-up from your hotel.
First, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco around 8 o'clock begin our exciting adventure. Once you're ready, we will head to the equestrian ranch where our experience will begin.
After a brief introduction and equipment, we will mount our horses and head to the first stop of our journey: Sacsayhuamán.
This majestic Inca complex will welcome us with its imposing walls and panoramic views of the surroundings of Cusco.
After exploring Sacsayhuamán on horseback, we will descend to visit the site on foot, immersing ourselves in its mystical history and how it represents the Inca divinity.
Once our visit is complete, we will mount our horses again to head to our next destination: the Temple of the Moon.
We will explore the Temple of the Moon on horseback, then visit it on foot to witness this sacred place where ceremonies and rituals were performed for Mama Killa (the moon) and Pachamama (Mother Earth).
These divine Andean beings have a deep connection with nature, and our goal is to connect with them and with nature itself to understand your pasts and allow your energy to connect with Mother Nature, purifying both your body and mind.
We will continue to the famous Temple of the Monkey, or Kusilluchayoq, where several rock carvings of snakes and frogs are found.
The snake represents the underworld and the connection with the deceased and ancestors, so we aim to connect with your past lives or situations with a relative that still remains unresolved.
After visiting all these magical places on horseback, we will head to the glamping site we prepared for the Ayahuasca ceremony, but first, we will have lunch according to the retreat's dietary restrictions.
Before starting the ceremony, we will conduct an individual interview to establish a connection with the shaman and facilitate the healing process in the Ayahuasca ceremony.
Then, the shaman will share various stories to connect with Mother Earth, followed by a permission ceremony to ensure a successful Ayahuasca ceremony.
Finally, we will begin the Ayahuasca ceremony, lasting for one hour.
The ceremony will be guided by the shaman with the necessary care, and after that, a brief medical check-up will be performed to assess your condition.
At the end of the tour, a private transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
Ayahuasca Retreat Cusco invites you to experience this mind-blowing and magical journey full of healing and curanderismo.
It depends on how your body processes the drink and how well you adapt to it. In some ceremonies, our shaman asks if someone wants to take another dose of ayahuasca. It's up to each participant to decide if they want to take an extra dose of ayahuasca.
Ayahuasca Retreat Cusco works with highly qualified professionals with extensive knowledge of sacred and healing drinks. We seek to connect the ancestral knowledge of our shamans with a comprehensive, high-quality service that allows our participants to feel safe during the ceremony.
That's right, after the Ayahuasca Retreat it is important to continue with the diet, this is because the drink is still being processed in our body, it takes about 7 days to finish being processed, therefore it is essential to avoid the foods indicated in the diet with high cortisol levels, cortisol levels must be kept low for a better internal process.
Note: We have a vision interpreter facilitator, expert in the symbols and messages of ayahuasca, who will guide you toward understanding and healing. Contact us in advance if you would like their services (additional cost).
