First, the Ayahuasca Ceremony and Inkilltambo trek begins with an early pickup from your hotel to begin this mystical journey to Inkilltambo. Along the way, we'll stop in the giant forest of Cusco to make an offering of coca leaves.
Second, we'll arrive at the Huallarcocha Lagoon, where our shaman will be waiting to welcome us. There, we'll ask the land for permission to protect us before visiting and embarking on the trekking route. Here, we can observe different types of birds and the beautiful flora native to the Cusco Valley.
Next, we begin the trek to Inkilltambo, whose Quechua name translates as "flowering garden." It is an impressive Inca huaca located in the Sacsayhuamán archaeological park. Built between 1400 and 1438 during the reign of the Inca Wiracocha, Inkilltambo is notable for its enclosures, terraces, water channels, and temples. An essential part of the "ceque" system that organized the empire's religious centers, this ancient site reflects the sophisticated engineering and profound spirituality of the Inca civilization.
After the guided tour, we will head to our glamping site, prepared for the ayahuasca ceremony and Inkilltambo trek. Here, we will have lunch, which our chef prepared for us according to our instructions so as not to disturb the ceremony.
Later, after settling into our glamping site, the shaman will begin recounting ancient stories and mystical legends to better connect with ancestral energies.
After a brief interview with each of our participants, we begin the ayahuasca ceremony, which lasts one hour. During the ceremony, the shaman and his support staff will monitor the participants' well-being.
Finally, with the ceremony over, we will head back to our private transportation to take you back to your hotel, where we bid you farewell until another occasion.

It depends on how your body processes the drink and how well you adapt to it. In some ceremonies, our shaman asks if someone wants to take another dose of ayahuasca. This is the individual decision of each participant if they want to take an extra dose.
Ayahuasca Retreat Cusco works with highly qualified professionals with extensive knowledge of sacred and healing drinks. We seek to connect the ancestral knowledge of our shamans with a comprehensive, high-quality service that allows our participants to feel safe during the ceremony.
That's right, after the Ayahuasca Retreat it is important to continue with the diet, this is because the drink is still being processed in our body, it takes about 7 days to finish being processed, therefore it is essential to avoid the foods indicated in the diet with high cortisol levels, cortisol levels must be kept low for a better internal process.
