Day 1: Ayahuasca in Sacred Valley

Ayahuasca Retreat in Sacred Valley begins in Cusco, the ancient heart of the Inca Empire, where you will be welcomed by the energies of a city full of history and mysticism.

We start with the pick-up from your hotel to take you in the morning on our mystical city tour, visiting Sacsayhuamán, the sacred fortress. We will also visit the monkey temple and the moon temple to recharge our energy, connect with Pachamama, and eliminate negative energies.

After visiting these sacred sites with our mystical guide, we will head to a delicious lunch that is specially prepared to meet the dietary restrictions before taking Ayahuasca, so as not to disturb the healing of the body and soul.

We finish Day 1 by taking you back to your hotel so that you can rest and prepare for the second day in the magical Ayahuasca retreat in Sacred Valley.

Day 2: Ayahuasca the Sacred Valley

We begin Day 2 of Ayahuasca retreat in the Sacred Valley at dawn. We will travel to the Sacred Valley, a sanctuary of calm and natural beauty. Here, in the serenity of the land that was once the cradle of the Incas.

We start with a visit to the Taray viewpoint, which will be our first stop. Here we will have a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley, which will connect us with the energies of the entire Sacred Valley.

Ñaupa Iglesia

Next, we will visit Ñaupa iglesia. This site is known for its aura of mystery.

It is the perfect place to perform ancestral ceremonies, such as offerings to the earth, a ceremony that we will do at this place to establish a stronger bond with Mother Earth.

This place is sacred because one of its doors is a three-dimensional entrance that leads to other important Inca sanctuaries. Additionally, its main design is aligned in a straight line with the constellation of the ‘Southern Cross.’

The complex covers an area of 36 square meters with a trapezoidal shape, which increases its uniqueness. The term ‘Ñaupa Iglesia’ translates to ‘very old church,’ but locals know it more as ‘Choquella,’ which means ‘where gold shines.’ This place was a center of worship where the Incas honored deities such as the sun, the moon, the mountains, and the earth.

After visiting this majestic place, we will stop in Urubamba for our lunch, which is structured according to the dietary restrictions to avoid disturbing the cleansing of the body and soul.

Ayahuasca Retreat

Next, we will settle in our sanctuary to begin the Ayahuasca retreat amidst imposing landscapes, and with the guidance of the ancestors

You will embark on a profound connection with nature and your own essence.

The energy of the valley, the flow of the rivers, and the majesty of the Andean peaks will amplify your experience and allow you to integrate the teachings of the previous night.

Later, we begin with the ancestral stories from the shaman to connect with nature and the energy of the universe.

Then, we start the Ayahuasca ceremony in our sacred space.

The ceremony is completely safe, guided by expert shamans and their collaborators, who will be attentive to the health and well-being of each one of you.

Finally, after completing the ceremony and confirming that you are in optimal condition, we return to Cusco, dropping you off at the door of your hotel.

Ayahuasca Retreat Cusco looks forward to accompanying you on your journey of knowledge and healing. Join this 2-day Ayahuasca tour in the Sacred Valley.

In the Sacred Valley Ayahuasca Ceremony:

  • During the Ayahuasca ceremony, you will experience visions related to your goal or mission. The colors reflect your subconscious, as you connect with your inner self. In addition, you will hear sounds similar to Shipibo or Ashaninka instruments and even animal noises or sounds. These visions are part of the effects of Ayahuasca.
  • However, some people may experience delayed visions, as each body reacts differently. If this occurs, the shaman and our team will offer support, and if necessary, we will transport you in a private vehicle for your safety.
  • It is advisable to rest briefly after the ritual, as the mental and physical transformation can be exhausting. This is normal and temporary.

What happens if I don't have visions during the Ayahuasca Ceremony?

It depends on how your body processes the drink and how well you adapt to it. In some ceremonies, our chaman asks if someone wants to take another dose of ayahuasca. It's up to each participant to decide if they want to take an extra dose of ayahuasca.

Why is our Ayahuasca Ceremony priced differently?

Ayahuasca Retreat Cusco works with highly qualified professionals with extensive knowledge of sacred and healing drinks. We seek to connect the ancestral knowledge of our shamans with a comprehensive, high-quality service that allows our participants to feel safe during the ceremony.

Is it important to follow a diet after the Ayahuasca Ceremony?

That's right, after the Ayahuasca Ceremony it is important to continue with the diet, this is because the drink is still being processed in our body, it takes about 7 days to finish being processed, therefore it is essential to avoid the foods indicated in the diet with high cortisol levels, cortisol levels must be kept low for a better internal process.
