Day 1: Ayahuasca Sacred Valley and Machupicchu

Ayahuasca Sacred Valley and Machupicchu begins in Cusco, the ancient heart of the Inca Empire, where the energies of this historic and mystical city will greet you.

We start with a pick-up from your hotel to take you on a mystical city tour, visiting Sacsayhuamán, the sacred fortress.

We will also visit the Temple of the Monkey and the Temple of the Moon to recharge our energy, connect with Pachamama, and eliminate negative energies.

After visiting these sacred places with our mystical guide, we will head to a delicious lunch that adheres to the dietary restrictions necessary before taking Ayahuasca, ensuring the body and soul remain undisturbed during the healing process.

We conclude Day 1 by returning you to your hotel to rest and prepare for the second day in the magical Sacred Valley.

Day 2: Ayahuasca Sacred Valley and Machupicchu

At dawn, we will head to the Sacred Valley, a sanctuary of calm and natural beauty.

Here, in the serenity of the land that was once the cradle of the Incas, we begin Ayahuasca Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu on Day 2 with a visit to the Taray viewpoint.

This will be our first stop, where we will have a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley, allowing us to connect with the energies of the entire valley.

Ñaupa Iglesia

Next, we will visit Ñaupa iglesia, a place known for its mysterious aura.

This site is perfect for conducting ancestral ceremonies such as land offerings, which we can perform here to strengthen our connection with Pachamama.

This sacred place features a three-dimensional door that leads to other important Inca sanctuaries, and its main design is aligned with the constellation of the 'Southern Cross.'

The complex covers an area of 36 square meters in a trapezoidal shape, adding to its uniqueness.

The term ‘ Ñaupa iglesia’ translates to ‘very old church,’ but locals refer to it as ‘Choquella,’ meaning ‘where gold shines.

This site was an important worship center where the Incas honored deities such as the sun, moon, mountains, and earth.

After visiting this magnificent place, we will stop in Urubamba for lunch, structured according to the restrictions to avoid disturbing the body's cleansing process.

Ayahuasca Ceremony

Later, we will settle in our sanctuary to begin the ceremony in the midst of awe-inspiring landscapes.

With the guidance of our ancestors, you will enter a profound connection with nature and your own essence.

The energy of the valley, the flow of the rivers, and the majesty of the Andean peaks will amplify your experience, allowing you to integrate the teachings from the previous night.

Finally, after completing the ceremony, we will check if you are in optimal condition.

Day 3: Ayahuasca Sacred Valley and Machupicchu

We start early with a pick-up from your hotel to the Poroy station, where we will take the train to Aguas Calientes, a magical and peaceful town to visit Machu Picchu.

The journey lasts 3 hours, where we will observe the local flora and fauna, and the quality of the train you choose (Vistadome or Expedition).

Upon arriving at Aguas Calientes, we will head to the bus station to take the bus to Machupicchu and begin our visit.

Once at Machupicchu, we will enjoy a magical visit with our mystical guide, who will offer a unique and sacred perspective on the sanctuary.

The visit will be filled with history and spirituality, surrounded by the peace that envelops the site.

Later, after our visit, we will descend to Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch according to the dietary instructions for cleansing the body.

Finally, we will take the train back to Cusco, where we will transfer you to your hotel.

Ayahuasca Retreat Cusco invites you to join us on this journey of knowledge and healing. Join this 2-day Ayahuasca tour in the Sacred Valley.

During the Ayahuasca ceremony:

During the Ayahuasca ceremony, you will experience visions related to your goal or mission. The colors reflect your subconscious, as you will connect with your inner self. In addition, you will hear noises similar to Shipibo or Ashaninka instruments and even animal sounds. These visions are part of the effects of Ayahuasca.
However, some people may experience delayed visions, as each body reacts differently. If this occurs, the shaman and our team will offer support, and if necessary, we will transport you in a private vehicle for your safety.
It is recommended to rest briefly after the ceremony, as the mental and physical transformation can be exhausting. This is normal and temporary.

What happens if I don't have visions during the Ayahuasca ceremony?

It depends on how your body processes the drink and how well you adapt to it. In some ceremonies, our shaman asks if someone wants to take another dose of ayahuasca. This is the individual decision of each participant if they want to take an extra dose of ayahuasca.

Why is our Ayahuasca ceremony priced?

Ayahuasca Retreat Cusco works with highly qualified professionals with extensive knowledge of sacred and healing drinks. We seek to connect the ancestral knowledge of our shamans with a comprehensive, quality service that allows our participants to feel safe during the ceremony.

Is it important to follow a diet after the Ayahuasca ceremony?

Yes, after the Ayahuasca ceremony, it is important to continue with your diet. This is because the drink is still being processed in our body. It takes about 7 days to fully process. Therefore, it is essential to avoid foods with high cortisol levels indicated in the diet. Cortisol levels must be kept low for better internal processing.

You should know that ayahuasca is a combination of plants used in spiritual and healing ceremonies by a shaman, who will guide you through your entire experience in each ayahuasca session.

Here are some tips before you embark on your journey with us:

  • First, prepare yourself emotionally and mentally, as the ayahuasca ritual experience can be challenging and immersive, and you will experience intense emotions during the process.
  • Second, follow the dietary instructions we provide in the recommendations section. This is very important because it will help you prepare your body to enjoy the experience, mitigating potential risks when interacting with ayahuasca.
  • Prepare for the purge. You may experience nausea, dizziness, and sweating. Although it may be uncomfortable, this is part of the experience; you will release tension and emotional blocks.
  • Don't forget to wear comfortable, lightweight clothing because the sessions are long, so it's very important that you feel relaxed during the ceremony.
  • Finally, this is a personal matter; don't compare yourself to others; the ayahuasca experience is unique to each of our participants.
